Dear Canoe Marathon Community!
The Austrian Canoe Federation and PSV Wien Kanu Club invite everyone warmly to the International Vienna Canoe Marathon 2025 on Sat 26th of April .
Set on a lap course on the standing waters of Vienna’s alte Donau around the “Gänsehäufel” island with the facilities of the Vienna Police Sport Club’s sport center as base the event offers a great opportunity to get into race mode for the upcoming season! With a maximum distance of 21km (5 laps for seniors, men juniors) and a super smooth portage (and stunning views to the Vienna skyline) the race is perfect to get going for your marathons or test your stamina for the sprints to come. We also offer races in all youth, kids as well as Masters classes and of course also touring boat paddlers are welcome! Timekeeping will be done via chip system so all racers will have their final and lap times availabe right after finishing. We hope to see plenty of paddlers competeing in this classic central European canoe marathon with its more than 20 years history.
Below you can download the invitation with all relevant information and the Excel form we kindly ask you to submitt your club’s entries (entry deadline April 12. 2025; late entries are possible on race day for increased fee). You can also find the entry form embedded in the invitation.
